and had always been close, even though there was 2years between them. They had had a hard time at home. Their Dad left when was 5 and their Mom had recently committed suicide. and had moved to Stourbridge about 6 months ago to live with their Aunt and Uncle so could finish her last year of school. had been trying to get into a band for as long as could remember. Much to their moms dismay she didn’t approve but she wasn’t their anymore to tell not to so he went ahead when the opportunity came up. had hated moving school. She never fitted in anywhere they moved and this school was no different. Her friends were and han but now was leaving her. She was alone again. Han was great but shed never understand. The day went slowly. Yet another detention. walked back alone as soon as she was ‘home’ she shut herself in her room and cried. Her life was a mess and she knew it. had promised he would be there for always but after everything he had left. She switched on the radio. 4 months today she thought. He promised he’d call everyday. She hadn’t heard from him in 3 weeks. Feels like hes given up on me too she thought. The song finished and a new one started. She knew it from somewhere, it was catchy. He had written that song about when their mom had died, it was a comfort song and now everyone could hear it. It brought back so many painful memories though. She could feel the tears prickling her eyes. She quickly wiped them away and lay on her bed thinking what might be doing now. Before she knew it she was fast asleep.
“Good morning you’re listening to BEACON FM in the morning with CAM.” s radio alarm went off at 6:30 as usual. She dragged herself out of bed, checking her phone, nothing. sighed, she was expecting too much he was famous now, why would he have time for his Lil sis? “And now for the dedications” the radio blared out. smiled, she loved listening to them, most of them were funny, but there were soppy ones too. “Hey ”. The sweeti! Soon she was wide awake singing along with 5 colours in her hair. After the song had finished she had a hot shower and got ready for school. was gonna call for her at 7:45 so they could catch the bus together. She glanced at her clock &:15, she had half an hour left before HAN would arrive. She jumped down the stairs and headed for the kitchen grabbing a slice of toast she proceeded to channel flick. There was nothing on. Her Aunt and Uncle had already left for work so she stared into space, trying to amuse herself while she waited for Han.

3 days later she got a text from her best mate from when she’d lived in London.

was walking back late after yet another detention. A police car and ambulance went past but she thought nothing of it from what she had heard there had been a car crash but that was all she knew.
