A ghost glided into the train station.
It was 2 in the morning.
Yet she seemed unmoved by the time.
Her eyes were in shadow and there was no emotion on her worn face.
The conductor was about to question her but then saw the look in her eyes and carried on with his job.
Her eyes were haunting him as the train left the station.
They were grey and lifeless. As though she had seen too much, yet knew there was more to come.
The Girls body was lifeless the whole journey.
It was almost as if she was asleep.
On the last stop the girl departed the train.
The wind was blowing and rain was pelting down from the sky.
She didn’t even notice as she walked the lonely streets for shelter.
Her clothes stuck to fragile figure but she kept on moving.
Nothing anymore could affect her.
She had made herself unreachable.

It was half 5 when finally found her destination.
Her brother had told if she was ever in London to stay at his, even if they weren’t in.
She knew where the spare key was and let herself in.
Shit she thought as she noticed the lights upstairs were on.
Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea.
She couldn’t face anyone right now.
What would she tell if he asked?
She had nowhere else to go.
In the end she collapsed on the sofa and drifted into a restless sleep.
